RUTH KIRWAN
Ruth studied Dietetics and Catering in Edinburgh before heading to pastures new in the Caribbean and Med as a yacht cook. She moved to Mallorca in the 90’s and quickly fell in love with the island. She and a good friend, also an ex-yacht cook ran a successful catering business for several years.
She then started Essentials Provisioning in 2001, realising that she could use her knowledge and a whole network of trusted companies and producers to provide a comprehensive provisioning service to yachts.
In 2006 she joined forces with the VSF group in France, which enabled the company to offer a consistent supply of high-quality wines from Europe, and the New World.
